About the Event
This is the First Regatta of the Mid-Atlantic Season!

Waccamaw Sailing Club has a lovely clubhouse on the shores of Lake Waccamaw approximately 40 miles west of Wilmington, NC. You can tent camp at the club in the upstairs open loft of the clubhouse. RV camping is first come first serve, includes power, and has a small fee. There are also camping areas nearby and NUMEROUS rental houses.
Some sailors are considering leaving from Waccamaw after Alligator Run and heading towards Fort Walton, FL for Weta Fest which starts the following Thursday.
