The RV & Tent camping, beach launch and boat ramp will be at Santa Fe Lakeside Landing aka "Hatties", 572 SE 16th Street, Melrose, FL 32666, general phone 352-281-6060. Yesterday I spoke with the owner of Hatties, Ken Fickett 352-376-3039, e-mail: kenfickett@gmail.com who said he would allow Weta trimarans to be kept there over night and launched from there, RV and Tent camping, all at no charge. I asked how he makes any money. Ken said he has several businesses including boat manufacturing, and has owned the property on the lake for over 40 years. He even offered to provide a committee boat and help us conduct some races. He organizes races on Lake Santa Fe launching from Hatties. I told him we would keep it simple this year and just swarm. I told him in the future we would like to have annual race on lake Santa Fe. Ken…
