    Weta Mast Hinge Install

    Does anyone have experience installing the mast hinge? I received the part from the dealer but no instructions included.

    The pin on the standard base is offset.

    The plastic mast base, and corresponding notch in the mast bottom, is offset.


    The pin in the hinged mount is in the center.

    To use the hinged mast base, remove the plastic base and modify (notch) the bottom of the mast to accept the new pin location.

    Removal of the plastic base also compensates for the extra thickness of the hinged mast step.
