Taking off the Stainless wheel extenders
Hello again! I went out and bought a pair of the 16.5" Wheeleez dolly wheels and found the width of their hubs are 1.5" too wide for the SS extenders I have on the dolly. My boat came with the large Florida Sailcraft jet ski wheels with 1" diameter centers and the extenders appear to be the 9" variation. In an attempt to free the extenders, I found the are "welded" to the alum axle. After generous applications of PB, no movement. What can I do? I don't have much in the way of shop tools here.
Thanks in advance!

UPDATE! I was able to free the extenders with a large dose of Kroil, heat (thanks Terry!) and a large pipe wrench!! However, the extenders are too small in length to adequately support the Wheeleez assemblies leaving only 2" of extender in the axle tube. I'm going to purchase a solid aluminum 1" tube for inserting in the axle tube. Terry has already performed this procedure with his Wheeleez assemblies and it works! š
